The Annual Harvest Festival at Whitney Lake in Pictures

With Whitney Lake as the background, the residents of Whitney Lake community enjoyed another fine day for their Annual Harvest Festival on the afternoon of Saturday, October 13, 2018.

Take a look at our beautiful lake:

We had a Chili cook-off and for $5, anyone could have a 3oz. taste of all the nine entries.

Entrants were getting ready with their chilis.

For the attendees, first you had to buy your ticket to sample the food. Or you bought a raffle for the 50-50. If you were generous, you could donate to our Pig.

We also had corn hole game and the coin search on the hay which I missed entirely. Sorry about that. I was too busy sampling the chilis. You can’t blame me for that.

Looking forward to the next event on Sunday, Dec. 2 – The Annual Christmas Gathering
